We at 350.org are very excited to be launching our Just Recovery work today. Here are some details.
The report website is live at JustRecovery.co.za. It includes the full report, a 4 page summary and a one page poster/flyer in English, Zulu, Xhosa and South Sotho. It also includes a link to the art competition (see below) and a podcast on the just recovery – the first in a series from the Climate Justice Coalition. Could you share the website or this post on social media to help raise awareness about it?
A new report by @350Africa and @IEJ_SA that shows that a #JustRecovery from the COVID19 pandemic is an opportunity to restructure #SouthAfrica’s economy to be more sustainable and resilient and to prioritize the needs of ordinary people. www.justrecovery.co.za
There is also a just recovery art competition – read more and enter at: https://fal.cn/JustRecoveryArt. We hope that this will bring the report and the idea of a just recovery to more people. Please can you and your organisations help spread the word and share on social media. There is a social media share pack for the competition here.
We will also be hosting a webinar to discuss the report at 1pm on Friday the 24th of July. If you would like to join us, please register for the webinar.
Many thanks, and onwards to a just recovery,
