We (on behalf of Earthlife and groundWork) have filed a supplementary affidavit in the High Court challenge of the Thabametsi power station, following receipt of records from the Minister, which show how little information she had before her when she made her decision to let the power station go ahead (despite saying in her decision that she carefully weighed the harms against the benefits). We also bring to the court’s attention numerous expert reports by the ERC, CPI, IDDRI and IPCC, which demonstrate the irrationality and factual inaccuracy of the Minister’s decision.
