Dear Interested and Affected Party,

Notice is hereby given, in terms of the National Environmental Management: Air Quality Act (NEM:AQA), Act 39 of 2004, that Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd *has submitted an application for postponement from the Minimum Emission Standards to the National Air Quality Officer (NAQO) on 9 November 2018 for Tutuka power station in the Standerton area, in the Mpumalanga Province. *

Eskom has submitted the Atmosperic Impact Report supported by a motivation for the application and updated Public Participation (PP) Report to the NAQO.

The public review and commenting period on the draft Applicaton documentation lapsed on 26 October 2018. Thereafter the PP Report and Issues & Response Report (IRR) was updated to record and consolidate all comments and issued raised during public meetings and received during the public participation process and submitted together with the application documents to the NAQO.

The finalised application documents are available to all registered I&APs on the Naledzi website: * <>**.*

I&APs will be notificated of the decision made by the National Air Quality Officer.
