The latest report by Statistics South Africa (StatsSA) showed that electricity consumption increased by 2.4%, or 464 GWh, in April, compared with the same month last year.

Electricity consumption for February to April increased by 1.9%, or 1 064 GWh, compared with the same three months last year.
